Virtual Birkie
Golden Eagle Lodge and Bearskin Lodge are virtual venue partners for the American Birkebeiner this 2021 season! The Central Gunflint Ski Trail System will host an approximately 43km course that can be started at either Bearskin Lodge or Golden Eagle Lodge.
Participate anytime between Saturday, February 20th to Sunday, February 28th, 2021.
The nationally renowned Central Gunflint Ski Trail System, owned jointly by Golden Eagle Lodge and Bearskin Lodge, is a well-marked network of more than 70 km of trails that begin curve through Minnesota’s beautiful Northwoods. Our trail system has been specifically built for the purpose of cross-country skiing and is tracked for both traditional and skate skiers alike.

A map is also provided with your Central Gunflint Ski Trail Pass. Passes can be bought at Golden Eagle Lodge or Bearskin Lodge. The Central Gunflint Ski Trail System is private trail system thus the Minnesota State Ski Pass is not valid on these trails.
