PARTIAL OUTFITTING
Golden Eagle Lodge offers partial outfitting options. Whether you want to day trip into the BWCA or overnight with your own camping gear, we can equip you with a canoe for your trip. We rent Kevlar, Royalex, and Aluminum canoes; each are equipped with portage pads. All canoe rentals comes with paddles, lifejackets, duffer cushions, an anchor, fishing net, and transport pads if you need them. As a partial outfitter, we do not supply camping gear, tents, or food options, nor do we sell overnight permits, though we do have BWCA day permits available.
Trips can begin right from our beach, utilizing BWCA entry point 64 (East Bearskin Entry Point) to portage directly from Flour Lake into Moon Lake or East Bearskin Lake. We also offer canoe transports to the following area lakes: West Bearskin Lake, Clearwater Lake, Moss Lake, Hungry Jack Lake, and Poplar Lake.

WATERCRAFT RESERVATION POLICY
Our watercraft is available for reservation to all our guests and to the public. For non-motorized watercraft, a non-refundable $10 deposit is required per watercraft reserved. For motorized watercraft, a non-refundable $25 deposit is required per watercraft reserved. Watercraft deposits will be charged to your card at the time of the reservation and will come off your balance when the watercraft is paid for at pick-up. If you are a registered guest of Golden Eagle Lodge, you do not need to supply a deposit in addition to your cabin or campsite deposit – watercraft will instead be added to your cabin or campsite reservation. Any cancellation received within 48 hours of pick-up will still be charged for the entire watercraft reservation.
Weather is the biggest reason for watercraft reservation cancellations. Please remember that the weather is completely out of our control, though we are always willing to work with reserving parities if weather gets in the way of your day on the water. In the case of visible lightning, you will not be responsible for any cancellation fees resulting from day-of cancellations for one-day or half-day reservations. Deposits remain non-refundable but can be applied to a new reservation if it is not safe to be on the lake.
